Spanish wine importers highlight their star wines for on-trade and present their top picks of Spanish wines widely available in UK retail. Visitors will be able to follow each tasting trail by going around importers tables on levels 35 & 36 and tasting the bottles carrying special ‘Sky Trail’ stickers.


Going Green: A focus on Spain’s organic and sustainable winemaking. A self-pour tasting taking place from the central bar on level 35.

Vegan Wines: Exhibitors showcase their selection of Spanish wines suitable for vegans. A self-pour tasting taking place from the bar on level 36.


Informal tutorials will take place in the Fenchurch Street Restaurant Bar, located on level 37.

The innovation in Spanish vineyards and wineries, the growth in more sustainable and organic farming and the use of modern techniques to revive ancient traditions and varieties set Spain on an enviable course to adapt to changing consumer expectations. Sarah Jane Evans MW presents 5 wines which highlight recent developments in Spain and showcases the new styles of wines produced for today’s increasingly mindful consumer.

Rueda Verdejo – Spain’s Exceptional White Wine

The indigenous Verdejo grape produces wines with freshness, great fruitiness and a characteristic touch of bitterness. Sarah Jane Evans MW presents a tasting of different styles, including young, barrel fermented, sur lie and old vine Verdejos, highlighting how Rueda’s exceptional white is fast becoming the nation’s favourite in Spain – and now in the UK, as sales continue to grow with a 45% increase in 2018 alone.
